How to Get Mech in Racket Rivals
Mech brings a bomb-firing robot onto the court. The answer to “Racket Rivals how to get mech” is to spend awakening spins at the floating Awakening NPC. This Secret awakening gives you a way to knock opponents around while your team keeps the rally moving.
To work toward unlocking it:
- Head to the floating Awakening NPC. This is where you roll for awakenings.
- Use the awakenings list to increase your chances of the awakening you want. Make Mech your target before spending spins.
- Roll awakening spins for a chance to unlock Mech. It belongs to the Secret rarity category.
Keep your rolls focused on awakenings when chasing Mech. Rackets and spirits are separate parts of your loadout, while Mech belongs to the system that supplies your match ultimates.

Getting Spins and Understanding the 80-Spin Guarantee
You can earn awakening spins through gameplay rewards and redeem codes. Use those rewards to build up more attempts at the Awakening NPC.

For code redemption, open Shop, then select Codes to reach the entry field. Redeem codes that award awakening spins to add more rolls.
The rarity distinction matters when tracking your progress:
- Mech is a Secret awakening.
- A Legendary awakening is guaranteed after every 80 spins.
That 80-spin guarantee applies to Legendary rewards; it does not promise Mech. Treat it as a Legendary milestone when planning your rolls, rather than a countdown to this particular unlock.
What Mech Does and How to Activate Awakenings
Mech summons a robot that launches bombs onto the opposing side of the court. Those bombs knock opponents back, adding disruption to Racket Rivals’ fast-paced 3v3 matches.

Watch where opponents move after a bomb hits, and aim your next shot toward the space they leave open. Build your follow-up around the knockback instead of assuming the robot will finish the rally for you.
On keyboard and mouse, the relevant controls are:
- Awakening: Press 2.
- Regular ability: Press 1.
- Swing: Left-click.
- Power Swing: Hold left-click.
Use the Awakening input for your ultimate. The regular ability key serves a different action, so keep 1 and 2 straight when adding Mech to your match routine.
